Rebecca and I went out and spent some time taking pictures of Sarah and the rest of the Colts. It was a great day with lots of sunshine.
We showed up in the late afternoon around 3:30 PM and watched them on a smaller field as they went through parts of the show working on drill.
After dinner they were on the stadium field working on some new drill and then they put it together and it looked really good.
Sarah's spirits are high and she is just loving it, she had sunburn as well.

Hey, Sarah...Thank you to you and your dad for the lovely photos and all of this wonderful site. My son, Jesse Backes....snare drummer...is participating in the Colts for this summer and I know we will be lucky just to see him in person now and again...he is more a member of the party than a chronicler of it! The pictures are great and I know when he finally gets home...for a day at the end of the season...he is #2 this year on the snare line at Univ. Of Illinois and will be arriving there a week late as it is! ...he will enjoy looking through the millions of pictures you slaved to take! Thanks. Polly Backes...mom of a Colt.
