Rebecca and I went out to watch the DSO and the Colts in the Independence Pops Concert at the Dubuque Fairgrounds. Alot of folks came out to watch this event even through the possibility of foul weather.
The weather held and there was a nice breeze and the concert was a great success I thought. The DSO played great music and at the end they played each branch of services song asking them to stand as they played a branch.
The Colts played their season show as a stand still and the music again was better then the last time I saw them. They are getting stronger and stronger each and ever time I see them. The brass line came back on and played four songs at the end with the DSO.
It was a great time and great music.
